The MARFLASH or NAVIFLASH Flashpoint tester requires only 1.0 mL of sample which facilitates cool-down between tests, reduces fire hazard, and minimizes sample disposal. Flashpoint tests are performed automatically in a closed-cup chamber, with no open flame or auxiliary fuel, and without operator intervention after pressing the RUN key. Test data can be transferred to a printer or computer via a standard RS232 serial port (included).
Previous MARFLASH/NAVIFLASH test data may be stored to compare and predict the percent contamination of products tested by their change in Flashpoint. Test conditions and results are °F/°C selectable and are displayed on a back-lit LCD display.
Test Completion is indicated by an audible signal and red/yellow/green visual indicator lights on the MAR/NAVIFLASH front panel.
