The Petrotest® TAG-4 flashpoint tester is a fully automatic closed cup flashpoint tester designed to perform low-temperature flashpoint determinations according to ASTM D56. The TAG-4 utilizes solid state cooling elements for independent temperature control and a compact design with a bench efficient 23cm x 40cm footprint and is extremely easy to operate. To run a sample, the operator simply needs to enter the expected flashpoint temperature and press the RUN button! The TAG-4 may also be linked to a PC with the supplied software for remote operation and efficient storage of sample results.
The TAG-4 has a standard operating temperature of 5°C to +110°C and has the ability to test to -35°C with the optional Low Temperature cooling module. Additional standard features include both gas and electric ignitions supplied and automatic barometric pressure correction.
