New 40,000 ft Calibration And Support Center In Tulsa, OK!
We are very proud to announce the opening of the new AMETEK Petrolab Calibration and Service Center on October 1, 2009 in the Tulsa, Oklahoma vicinity. Our new service center also serves as the headquarters for our parent organization, AMETEK Oil and Gas.
The Petrolab Tulsa Service Center will eventually replace the service organization in Albany and offers a more centralized location for reductions in shipment time and cost for many of our customers. The staff of procurement and logistics personnel is much larger and will ensure expedient processing and shipping.
The Tulsa facility has over 40,000 sq. ft. of space, a vast inventory of parts and has been ISO 9001 certified since 1993. This will enhance the calibration, service and support efforts of Petrolab by providing a significant increase in resources. This includes a full engineering staff, sales support personnel and factory-trained service representatives that offer the highest level of quality and support.
As always, all repair work is done using only OEM parts and factory-specified procedures and backed by a full one-year warranty. In addition, we offer extended warranties on all vapor pressure and flashpoint instrumentation.

Designed for significantly improved precision, reliability, and performance, the New Minivap VPXpert out-performs current vapor pressure standards, making the VPXpert your first choice when testing gasoline, crude oil or solvents.
The Grabner Minivap VPXpert is the referee instrument for US-EPA compliance and is the industry standard for the vapor pressure analysis of gasoline. The instrument performs in exact accordance with ASTM D5191, giving accurate DVPE (REID equivalent), absolute and total vapor pressure results.
Also approved for measuring the ASTM D6378 method, the Minivap measures the absolute vapor pressure of gasoline. This method eliminates the chilling and aeration procedure required for ASTM D5191. The Minivap can also determine the V/L ratio of non-viscous liquids such as hydrocarbon like gasoline, solvents and highly volatile compounds over a wide temperature range, correlating to ASTM D5188.
